Dr. Robert E. Stansell, DMD
Dr.
Stansell is an Eagle Scout, graduated salutatorian from Winder-Barrow High
School; attained his A.A. Degree from Oxford college of Emory University;
attained his B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Economics from Emory
University; and attained his D.M.D. degree from the Medical College of
Georgia. Since 1983, Dr. Stansell has been practicing dentistry in Winder,
and in our former satellite office in Braselton.
He continues to further
his education as a member of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental
Education, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the
American Academy of General Dentistry, the Clarke Area Dental Society, and
through the Hinman Dental Society.
Dr. Stansell is married
to the former Robin Campbell of Augusta, Georgia and they have one son, Ryan and
one daughter, Kelli. He is also an active member of the Winder First
United Methodist Church since his confession of faith at the age of
twelve. He is an active lifetime member of Optimist International, having
served locally as president and director.
Recently, Dr. Stansell
oversaw the construction of our new office and is just completing construction
on his new home on 57 acres. He is looking forward to numerous projects
such as woodworking, restoring the "old tractor," and perhaps raising
some farm animals, as he fondly remembers his grandmother's farm fresh eggs.
